With the hair brushed back from your face, it makes your face contours and features stand out. To make a French twist, brush your hair to one side from the back. If you want the twist to go from left to right, then brush the hair over to the left side. Using bobby pins hold the hair to one side. You can even use a hair spray to get a refined look. Place your hand under the hair, brush them very carefully. By making a makeshift ponytail, twist your hair upwards attaching them to your scalp with the help of a grip or hair pins. Keep twisting them and attaching them till you reach the end. Secure them properly and then apply hairspray over it in order to tame down any baby hair or if you have you hair cut in layers.
